The Real Reason for The Recession

Here’s my quick theory and it’s something to chew on.

First of all the housing market didn’t cause the recession.  Yes there was a portion of the housing market that was a house of cards.  What blew that house of cards over?  It’s simple when you think about it.  The real cause of our bad economy, and no one but no one as talked about it as such, is $4 a gallon gasoline.  (Follow me for a minute.) Yes people have talked about high gas prices etc but no one has used high gas prices in the overall scheme of the economy. 

First of all if you were living with one of those house of cards mortgages in 2006 (before the democrats took over) you were managing.  If you bought 20 - 30 gallons of gas a week before the sudden spike in gas you were spending $25 to $35 a week.  In 2008 you were spending $80 - $120 a week.  Well if you were barely making it you cannot afford for you monthly fuel bill go from $100 a month to $480 a month without something giving way.  Clearly people didn’t drive less, the survey’s mostly confirmed people didn’t drive less.  What they did do was pay all their bills except their mortgage.  For whatever reason people tend to pay rent and/or the mortgage last.  They will pay their weekly bills but will be short on cash when it’s time to pay the mortgage.  Clearly gas prices pushed the people that were over stretched down the “proverbial” hill.

The next thing we hear is that all this stimulus is going to cause hyperinflation.  Obviously in basic economics that is true.  So far it hasn’t happened and no one can explain it.  It really isn’t that hard to figure out actually.  There is all kinds of other things going on devaluing our money etc but that is other topics for another time.  Our domestic economy needs (X) dollars to operate or it won’t operate.  Depending on the amount of money in the economy determines the rate of growth.  Again lots of factors but we are keeping it simple.  The reason we had the housing crash and the reason we have not seen hyperinflation is simple: Gas Prices.  Fuel prices drive or slow down an economy the same way business save quick cash by cutting hours for their employees or expand as they add employees and payroll.  In 2008 oil prices were around $150 a barrel, we sent approximately 2 Trillion dollars of our cash overseas in that year alone. (That is by the simple numbers as best as I could research them.)  This doesn’t count the extra money that went overseas during the run up to $150 a barrel.  That cash has never returned to our domestic economy.  It’s largely in banks overseas.  The people we buy oil from don’t buy enough to send that cash back.  Borrowing from China actually brings money back that we send overseas.  While debt isn’t good a trade deficit is just as harmful.  Eventually you could, in theory, run out of cash.

This is essentially what happened and caused the great depression.   A lot of people think it’s the stock market crash.  The stock market crash was actually a symptom just as the housing market crash was the symptom this time.  The real issue leading to the great depression was that our money supply shrank by 25% almost overnight (at least an economic overnight.)  The same thing is driving this recession.  A shrinkage of the money supply.  Even with 1.5 million in stimulus money and additional borrowing since 2005 our money supply has shrunk by about 4 to 5 trillion dollars (by my crude estimates admittedly.  I don’t have access to much information to have a precise estimate.)  Now we are at $3 a gallon again and we are continuing the acceleration of the shrinking of our money supply.  (You also have to add in that about 20% of the stimulus money also went overseas and wasn't used to stimulate our economy.) 

Now the question becomes who or what is driving oil prices.  It's actually a bit obvious. First of all former Enron employees ended up in the commodities houses after Enron was dissolved.  Just like electricity there is no competition for gasoline.  There is some minor competition between companies that sell gasoline but that has been insignificant competition since the oil companies lobbied congress to pass a law prohibiting “gas wars.”  What Enron was doing with electricity was brokering between electric companies.  As an example they would buy at $10 per KWH and sell at $100 KWH and the company that needed more electricity generally had to pay it.  Well after the fall of Enron their former brokers ended up in new broker jobs in the commodities houses.  They soon begin to artificially drove up the price of oil.  There was actually no reason for the price to go up.  Supply and demand had not changed significantly enough to cause such a rise in price and that includes China and India as emerging consumers.  If you’ll remember you went home on Friday and gas was $1.25, on Monday it was $1.75 and it climbed from there.  That was not China, India or greedy oil companies.  It was a section of the commodities market getting greedy.  I despise the term “greedy capitalist” because in general that’s not really true, however in the case of oil and former Enron employees, it is true.  Your only alternative would be a stupid socialist manipulating markets for a power grab.  (A socialist is far worse than a “greedy capitalist” by the way.) Socialist aren't bright enough to have driven up fuel prices.  They are too busy thinking about the next protest or tax hike.  There solution would have been to raise taxes on gasoline. 

There are lots of problems in the economy but the first thing that needs to be fixed is the price of gasoline.  We know we can drill safe, we need to drill.  We know nuclear is safe, we need to build more nuclear power plants.  The department of energy was put in place by President Carter.  We bought about 30% of our oil from overseas at the time.  Now we buy 70% from overseas.  The democrat established Department of Energy is a failed program.  The quick fix is to drive gasoline back to 99 cents a gallon for the next 4 years.  People will have more disposable income spurring savings and spending.  If not we could see this recession last as long as the great depression.  It takes years for an economy to generate a bigger money supply unless the government adds to the money supply by printing.  As your population grows you need more cash.  The government would have done better with their 1.5 Trillion stimulus package if they had just given every person in the country that filed a tax return $10,000, including the rich.

Meyer, Stoops, Stupid Fans and Stupid Sportscasters

     As everyone one knows by now, Urban Meyer resigned from Florida and has been replaced by Will Muschamp.  Muschamp was the former "coach in waiting" and defensive coordinator at Texas for those of you don't know. 

     When Urban resigned the first thing out of the mouth of most Gator fans and every Seminole fan I know was that Bob Stoops was going to Florida.  One fan even told me Jeremy Foley, the athletic director at Florida, specifically said he would talk to Stoops.  Turned out to be a vicious lie.  The reality was that Jeremy Foley talked to one person and one person only, that person was Will Muschamp.

     Stoops was never going to Florida.  He wasn't even going to talk to them.  He turned them down twice already.  Bob Stoops has a clause in his contract that allows him to talk to four schools without permission.  Those schools are Iowa, Notre Dame, Ohio State and the school in question; Florida.  He has turned every school down at least once.  (Truth be told Notre Dame may not actually be a contract talk school but he was allowed to talk to them.)  Stoops grew up an Oklahoma fan!  You can bet he would leave any of those four schools for Oklahoma but he isn't leaving Oklahoma for any of them except for the lone chance that the Oklahoma administration became uncooperative.  Oklahoma is arguably one of the top three programs in the country maybe number two even.  I think everyone would give Notre Dame top spot even still.  The you can argue Bama v Oklahoma for the second spot.  Why would he go to Florida?

     I can't blame the fans entirely however.  The sports media are the true "criminals" in the rumor mill.  My friend who told me the vicious lie didn't think it up, he heard it from some stupid, dumbass, ignorant clown that calls him (or her) self a sports reporter.  They are just stirring the pot but in a irresponsible manner.  However, if you're dumb enough to listen to them, who is the bigger fool?  Is Mike Lupica setting the standard?

Clearly We Have A Failed Leader

    How can anyone deny that the current POTUS; Obama, is not a failed leader.  His party took a beating in the polls and they are eating themselves alive.  2012 could be the ruin of the Democratic Party for 40 years if they continue on this path. 

     The cu de gra of Obama's leadership was Friday night when Obama actually let Bill Clinton take over his press conference on tax cuts, so he could go to a party.  It may prove to be "the" fatal mistake of his administration.  He's made plenty but there was still hope.  I don't know if there is now.  If Bill Clinton could run again, he would bury Obama in a primary.

     The only hope for the Democrats is this is actually a bad comprimise by the Republicans in the long run.  Republicans need to stick by their guns and keep the tax cuts in place as they were.  It may not matter however because the Democrats are probably going to kill the bill and everyone's taxes are going up January 1.  Republicans now need to educate the public on why tax increases are bad even for the so called "rich."  Check back here regularly as I will try to blog about the economic facts of taxes.

College Football Playoffs

     As usual, this time of year there is always talk of playoffs.  The playoff proponents however want to have the best of both worlds, which simply won't work.  In other words they argue very loudly against the championship being based on "opinion" however they want to use "opinion" to put the teams they think should be in a playoff, into the playoff.

     Well you can't have it both ways.  Even in the NCAA basketball tournament your first qualifiers are the conference champions.  The committee only puts in all the at large teams and the seeding, which oh by the way, can be argued as "opinion." 

     So in a football playoff, your conference champion will be the representative in the playoff.  It would have to be just like the NFL and even more so really.  There are too many teams to deny the conference champion plus I thought this was suppose to be about "proving it on the field."  The conference championship games are part of the would be playoff.

     Also, you will have to go to home field playoff games.  This notion that you can use the bowls is not only unreasonable, it's ridiculously stupid as well.  In an eight team playoff fans won't travel 3 weeks in a row at least not en mass.  Besides pro football has home field advantage.  This use the bowls as playoff sites are just playoff proponents trying to justify that a playoff system and a bowl system will work together at the same time.  It won't and they know it.

     You will probably have to go to an eight team playoff system with six confernce champions and two at large teams.  Since there will be two at large teams and for this example lets use the BCS standings to help select the two at large teams.  Also assume if you lose late you won't be an at large team.  Let's assume a couple of upsets in the conference championships too.  So under the playoff scenario and using geographics and seeding to set the four home sites this year your possible first round playoffs could be as follows:



West Virgina @ Oregon

Florida State @ TCU

S. Carolina @ Wisconsin

Stanford @ Oklahoma

     Clearly there is some interchanging in the teams listed.  Nebraska could be in place of Oklahoma, Virginia Tech in place of Florida State and Auburn in place of S. Carolina.  Even Oregon could be out if you use the lose last elimination process, if they were to lose to Oregon State in the final game of the season.  Only TCU, Wisconsin and West Virginia are officially in under a playoff scenario at this point.  You could literally have TCU the number one seed (using the BCS as our at large committee for this example.)

     Let's be honest that really isn't a very appealling playoff scenario is it?  Nevermind it takes away that every game is a playoff game regular season.

     The final anyalysis is that it is about money.  A playoff system severely cuts into the money in the long run.  Since it is about money that doesn't mean it's corrupt.  The world is about money.  I don't see the people accusing the system of being corrupt returning any of their salary because they think they make to much.  They can just get off that arguement.

      Clearly the pundits would be yelling and screaming under the propsed potential playoff scenarios I have listed here because Oregon and Auburn got left out.  Would both of them lose?  Probably not!  Could Auburn lose to S. Carolina?  Sure, they should have lost to them the first time they played.

      Playoff propenents aren't really against the BCS because it's an opinion poll.  They are against the BCS because the poll doesn't fit their opinion.  They offer up a playoff solution also largely based on opinion as well, largely so the team they think is the best can get one last chance to prove someone else's opinion wrong!

Random Thoughts

     You thought Fox News was biased then you realized they can't hold a candle to NPR or MSNBC.  Actually Fox News isn't biased.  (Editorial Shows don't count)  Even though Fox News editorial hosts tend to lean right, they're fair with their guests and have pundits from both sides.  By comparison NPR nor MSNBC Never have a pundit from the other side of the aisle.  When I say never........ I mean NEVER!

     Compared to the rest of the media, Fox is the most fair and the most balanced.  Those who disagree have too much invested in the far left to admit otherwise.  NPR fired Juan Williams, a known leftist, for expressing his right of free speech.  That speech wasn't politically correct.  Political correctness is not what this country is all about.  One could argue he may have been wrong, but then they would be politically correct. 

     You know what, sometime discrimination, may save your life.  Clearly that trumps correctness.  (You have to know the whole story of Juan Williams to get my point here.  Look it up.)

     Well I actually didn't think the Sooners were ready to play for the title this year, unless Bradford had stayed.  Look out next year.  That young defense is going to be awesome next year.  The offense is improving too.  They may win two in a row, but not until next year.  This will still be a good year however. 

     I said Oregon was the team to beat weeks ago anyway.  Even Alabama didn't scare me.  Now I may pull for Mizzou but this may be the first time in ........ what 5 or 6 years the Big 12 hasn't played for the title.  Mizzou could still get there, but they might have to beat OU again and I don't think that will happen a second time.

     So now we know the Democrats love to cheat and are the biggest cheaters on the planet.  Why can't rank an file democrats admit that by the way?  Is that really the country they want to live in.  Where it doesn't matter as long as your guy gets in strictly based on party.  Never mind if that party enacts laws that will hurt your kids and grand kids as long as it's my team.  It just shows you the simple mindedness of the rank and file democrats.  Republicans won't back one of their own if he lies to you.  Democrats don't care.  I guess if you're a democrat you're just corrupt.  How else can I define it?  You're cheaters, PERIOD!  There is not other explanation.  (Case for this rant!  Illegals campaigning for democrats in Washington State and in another state which escapes me at the moment, just plain and simple, out and out voter fraud.  The democratic party pushed through ballots for voters on their behalf.  The picked voters that tended not to vote very often and voted for them.)

I was shocked that NPR, a taxpayer-funded organization, fired Juan Williams for his innocent opinions he offered on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show.
It is very clear to me that Democratic billionaire George Soros is once again trying to manipulate voters and enforce political correctness.
He and others who backed Barack Obama are horrified that America will soon reject their radical agenda.
They now want to close down and censor media that offer fair and balanced news.
You may not be aware that Soros made a $1,000,000 donation to MediaMatters, a left-wing front group for the Democratic Party.
Specifically, Soros made clear that his donation was to target Fox News.
Soros’s front group has also smeared me. I consider their attacks a badge of honor, considering what Soros and that group stand for.
You also should know that shortly after Soros donated $1.8 million to NPR, another of his favorite groups, NPR fired Juan Williams, even though he is a liberal.
Even Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters agreed that there was nothing at all wrong with what Williams said about how he feels when he sees Muslims get on airplanes.
There should be no doubt that George Soros is threatening America's freedom of speech.
What better way to send a message to Soros than to defeat 100 of his Pelosi Democrats on Election Day.
Believe it or not, we’re in a position to give Soros and his Democratic foot soldiers a shock.
Please help me elect a Republican Congress that not only will repeal Obamacare but also will de-fund NPR.
NPR doesn’t deserve one thin dime of our tax money!

The Uneducated Among Us

Case #1 of the "Uneducated"

     Christine O'Donnell (R) is running for US Senate in Delaware against Chris Coons (D) and they were at a debate when one of the questions was about the separation of church and state.  O'Donnell retorted with the comment "where is separation of church and state in the constitution?"  Well, of course, the left just howled with laughter.  One person was heard to say "oh my god."

     Is Christine O'Donnell uneducated?  The answer is a resounding NO!  Those of you that are educated know that actually, it was the jokers on the left that howled at her answer who are the uneducated.  First of all the phrase "separation of church and state" is no where to be found in the constitution or the Declaration as far as that goes.  Secondly religion is only addressed in the first amendment.  It does not imply a separation of church and state in any way shape or manner.

     What it does say is that the state (i.e. government) cannot establish a national or government sponsored church.  If you know your history at all, which the left in this country doesn't, you know why that clause was put into the first amendment.  The founders were trying to avoid establishments such as "The Church of England."  The church was established essentially so that the king had further control over the population, much as the left is trying to do in this country with nationalised health care and cap and trade.  Health care is just a new form of the government established church in England.  Think about that for a minute.  Be honest with yourself, it's undeniable.  Why people that are so "pro choice" would allow a government run health care system is unfathomable.

     There is another issue that goes along with this as well.  Either Christine O'Donnell is a witch or she is a Christian.  I wish the left would make up their mind on that topic.  I also wish the left, even the rank and file left, would get an education.  They should at least abandon their mis-education.  Some lefty will probably leave me a note telling me I'm the uneducated one.  I'll I can tell you then is that they didn't do a stitch of research before spewing their mis-educated views.  The bad news there is they probably learned their mis-education from the main stream media.

     Speaking of religion if you are a Muslim, you are to be tolerated.  Christians are not to be tolerated in this country, according to the political left, even though it is for the most part a "Christian" nation (by definition.)  It's ok, however, the first amendment protects Muslims just the same as Christians.  It shouldn't protect them if they are attacking the country with violent force.  That is something Christians don't do.  Only radical Muslims and the extreme radical left blow up buildings and people.  Admittedly there are two examples of people considered to be on the far right that did blow up two buildings.  However they don't hold a candle to Obama's mentor Bill Ayers, the uni-bomber among many others.

     While listening to an interview of the new Tallahassee Community College president, I was reminded of one of the most fatal flaws in today's public education systems.

     Money! Money! Money!  Oh education is failing, we must need more money.  We have heard that mantra for at least 40 years, maybe 50 years.  After that many years, clearly, money is not the answer.  When are we going to wake up as a population and figure that out?  Why is it that if a college failed to provide a proper education they would lose their accreditation.  If it's a public secondary school and the test scores haven't changed in 40 years, well then obviously it's a money problem.  What a crock of cow dung!  No the problem is socialisation of education, the excessive upper administrations of education and the lack of parental participation in their child's education.  If you fix what the states and the federal government is doing to education the parental problem will take care of itself. 

     All this leads to a deeper rooted issue however.  There is an element of people and most of them are in education, who think only the government can raise a child.  Would somebody tell me what makes a teacher smarter than the parent?  What gives the teacher or the government a right to intrude on the raising of the child by the parent?  It's getting so bad that many parents are being falsely accused of abuse.  There was a family that one state took their kids because they didn't agree with an organization in which the father was a member.  What right is it of the state or the school to determine what organization you can belong too.  Keith Olberman likes to call the "right" fascist.  Clearly he doesn't understand the word.  The Nazis like the left in this country want to raise your kids - that is fascism.

     Democrats in Disarray

     The Democrats are in big trouble and they are in such a deep hole they are even running against their own agenda.  There are actually Democrats that voted for health care (Obamacare) that are now campaigning against it.  "We have three years to fix it....."  vote us back in.  Are they serious?  You bet they're serious.  It cannot be anymore evident than it is right now that for the past 60 years the Democratic party is the root of every problem we have in America.  Everything they argue about is their own legislation.  Well they finally put some legislation out there that may have awakened the "sleeping giant."

Stop Cramming It Down Our Throat!

     Any time you have legislation as big as Obamacare and the majority of the people are against it and you pass it in the house by two or three votes, there is by definition, problems with the legislation.  Pelosi and her crew crammed this legislation down the American People's throat whether we liked it or not.  Why?  They have an agenda.  There is an element in our society that believes they are the only people who know what is right!  WRONG!  They don't know and they should not be allowed to govern in this manner.  Even if your a democrat and even if you support the health care bill, think about it for a minute.  This bill set a precedent that says the federal government can make you buy and/or participate in anything.  (Go to infowars.com if you don't believe this bill was passed as a precedent for future forced participation.) 

Football

     Well my Sooners came out #1 in the BCS, which surprised even me a little bit.  Glad to see it but I did expect Oregon to garner the #1 spot.  Apparently OU has a tougher schedule than Oregon so far this year and this week is only going to improve that standing as they play an undefeated Mizzou.  The bad news for me is that I have to keep pulling for the worst one loss football team in the country; Florida State.  As long as FSU keeps winning that huge win by OU over FSU only helps OU.  FSU clearly isn't as good as their record.  As it turns out Miami isn't that good either and the play of Miami against Duke and FSU against Boston College only proves my contention.  If it wasn't for Mark Stoops................

Folks, look.  It's very simple.  She has this piece in the New York Times yesterday that's just incoherent, rips into all these Republican women as "Mean Girls".  It's a sad, sad thing.  Everybody is trying to figure out: What happened to Maureen Dowd? She used to be funny, used to be appointment reading.  What happened is that a guy she really had -- she was in love with -- dumped her and was mean to her.  Didn't just dump her, but did it in a mean, mean way.  And she had everything invested in this guy, and she hasn't been the same since this happened.  If I didn't have the scruples I have, I'd give you every detail because I know every detail because I know the guy.  I have heard the guy explain the story, and I got livid! I was livid when I heard the story being told. The guy told me how much fun it was! I said, "Gee whiz! I'm supposed to be the guy with no heart here! I'm the conservative! I'm supposed to be the guy that has no compassion!" (interruption) Oh, yeah, big time liberal.  Oh, no question, absolutely.  At any rate, it's just a sad thing out there.  Very, very sad thing.  While everybody is trying to figure out what went wrong, what's changed Maureen Dowd, it's something that happens to everybody who really just gets heartbroken. (interruption) Now, not a -- Snerdley, you know, why do you always descend in that direction? She was not having a hot flash when writing.

Liberals in South Carolina are asking for an all out ban on cell phone use in vehicles.  This isn't about saving lives by the way.  It is about alleged brain cancer, so they say.  However the truth is closer to the fact that a cell phone is a singular expression of freedom, just like the automobile.  Liberals are trying to limit the type of automobile you drive.  Everything liberals do is predicated on saving lives.  The truth; it's about limiting your freedoms.

Michelle Obama was out preaching nutrition and obesity over the weekend.  It is estimated by some experts that she has put on at least 30lbs in the last 6 months.  Hypocrite.  You thought my last statement was nuts.  Doesn't the fact Michelle says do as I say not as I do lend some credibility to the previous paragraph?

Obama tried to acuse the US Chamber of Commerce of taking foreign money.  While there actually is not evidense of such. We do know that Clinton took money from Communist China in exchange for rocket technology.  Clinton used that money in his campain.  Sit down and shut up Mr. Obama.

Sharon Angle appears to be on the cusp of taking down one of the most corupt senators in the history of the USA; "Dingy" Harry Reid.  She is now over 50% in the polls.

     Can The Media Ever Tell The Truth?

    Well there was an event at the "Mall" again this weekend.  What a disaster.  The media is trying to spin it as some nobel event.  It was a travesty instead. 

     They have tried to spin it several directions.  First they tried to inflate the numbers and compare them to Glen Becks rally.  This article: DC rally shows support for struggling Democrats is an example of everything that is wrong with the media, although it did admit that the crowd was much smaller than the Beck event.

     Some of the things this article doesn't tell you, tells you a lot about media spin and proves the mainstream media is actually the biased entity.  For example, they don't tell you that over half the people were bused in by the unions and that the unions paid for the trips and in some cases even paid the people to show up.  By contrast no one at the Beck event was paid.

     The first thing the article says is that Democrats are tapping into anger as the "Tea Party" has done.  Nothing could be a bigger lie.  The "Tea Party" isn't angry.  They are mad but there is a difference.  The Democrats are angry and that is, well let's be honest, it's HATE! 

     Ed Schultz wants the people to stand up against corporations.  Who is he kidding, not only is he a member of the NBC Corporation, he is also a member of the biased media "corporation" as well as supporting the "corporation" also known as the Obama Administration.  Make no mistake, at this level of politics in today's world the Federal Government is a "corporation."  With the crew running the government right now it is the most corupt of "corporations" as well.

    On the other hand the "Tea Party" isn't a corporation at all.  They have very little if any corporate backing despite the acusations of such from the "professional left." (Olberman, Maddow, Shultz and the over all mainstream media.)  The tea party is a true grass roots organization by the people, for the people, of the people.  They are thinkers and not emotional or paid followers as we saw over the weekend at the Lincoln Memorial.

     You want to know the difference between conservatives and liberals?  When the Beck rally was over there was hardly a speck of trash.  This is how the liberals left it.....

Tolerance Gone Awry

     I saw a video that Ellen DeGeneris did in reaction to the Rutgers student that committed suicide.  I'm sorry the kid committed suicide.  I'm sorry for his problems but her reaction and the use of the suicide to claim people needed to and would have their minds changed about being "Gay" was a bunch of emotional clap trap. 

     I have have friends that are gay, one in particular I could call on anytime I needed anything or she could call me.  She is a person and I treat her no different than I do anyone else.  I don't judge her at all.  This notion by Ellen however that the reason this kid committed suicide was because of "intolerance" is bunch of hog wash.  The next issue of tolerance is why is the left tolerant of only certain points of view?

     In case you don't know two dorm mates posted an 18 year old student having his first homosexual encounter on the internet.  What these kids did was mean but it was also part of being young.  Everyone has done it and there isn't any amount of (anykind) of preaching you can say to a kid that will stop them from being insensitive to someone else at some point in their life.  So get over that part right now.  You can't teach tolerance on one issue when you are intolerant on your own chosen issues.  Everyone has issues they don't tolerate.  It's called being human.

     Again I'm sorry this kid committed suicide but he had more to this than the fact someone exposed him as being gay.  As humans we inherently know what is right and what is wrong.  He committed suicide because of deeper issues.  The posting of his coming out on the internet was just a final trigger.  He was ashamed.  The question is why was he ashamed?  Was he ashamed because he knew deep down he was wrong?  Was he ashamed because of outside pressures? 

    I'm totally politically incorrect on my opinion but that doesn't make it wrong.  He committed suicide because he was ashamed and because he knew he was wrong way deep down inside.  There isn't enough space to get into all that here but whether you're and evolutionist or creationist or some other religious vent, they all tell you it's wrong.  Your human nature deep down inside tells you its wrong.  It's a spiritual human issue, again to long to get into here.

     I feel sorry for the young man that committed suicide but don't preach to me about tolerance because someone else's demons drove him to jump from the George Washington Bridge.

Obama loves to Blame Bush for everything.  Grow Mr. Obama.  He's still blaming Bush for the big deficits.  The following is an excerpt from an article written by Steve Moore of the Wall Street Journal.  It's a factual article.  It's not opinion.  Let's see who is really responsible for the deficit.

During a recent press conference, President Obama blamed George W. Bush for the nation's fiscal condition. "When I walked in," he declared, "wrapped in a nice bow was a $1.3 trillion deficit sitting right there on my doorstep." Earlier this year he asserted that "we came in with $8 trillion worth of debt over the next decade."
Neither statement is correct, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). True enough, the outgoing Bush administration bequeathed big deficits to Mr. Obama. The expected 2009 deficit was $1.19 trillion, not $1.3 trillion, however—and the actual deficit for 2009 came in at $1.41 trillion, meaning that the new president added some $220 billion to the total.

Far more significant, however, was the president's misstatement that Mr. Bush and the Republicans left the country with $8 trillion of debt over the next 10 years. The CBO's projected 10-year deficit when Mr. Obama took office was actually $4.09 trillion. Now, after 20 months of his presidency, the expected deficit has almost doubled, to $7.68 trillion.
A strong case can be made that the people most responsible for the gigantic deficits we face today are neither George W. Bush nor Barack Obama. The real culprits are Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Congress controls the purse strings. When Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Reid rose to their present jobs in January 2007, the deficit was $161 billion. It had been on a downward trajectory from $413 billion in 2004. Three years later, the Pelosi-Reid Congress had added $1.2 trillion to the deficit.

     Obama is now trying to say that the Tea Party is corporate and that the people that aren't corporate are bigots.  Obama has never been to a Tea Party or talked to a Tea Partier.  How does he know?  It's politics (oh and lies.)  He isn't trying to unify the country!  He's trying to keep it divided.  Then to top it off if you do a in depth study of the democratic party and if you're honest about it.......the Democrats are the real racist.

Making the case for left-wing voters to show up in November, Mr. Obama told Rolling Stone that he is presiding over "the most successful administration in a generation in moving progressive agendas forward."

Yes Mr. Obama - let the liberals and the loony left stay home.  It is not your job or their job to tell us how we are suppose to live.  Goof Ball!!

THE REALLY BIG LIE

Obama and the media are now telling everyone that the combat troops are out of Iraq.  IT'S A LIE!!  I was talking with a Leon County Sheriffs officer about two weeks ago.  He's a reserve drill sergeant in the Army and he has been over to Iraq 5 times already and will have to go again soon - to train Iraqis.  Well he told me himself that very few if any troops will come home.  He said they will just change the name of the unit.  Here is an email from one of the troops responding to his friends that wanted to know when he will come home.

Just a few weeks ago Barack Obama proclaimed to the nation that the U.S. 'combat mission in Iraq is over.'

This gave the public the false impression that all U.S. combat forces in Iraq were being called back home and that there would be no further U.S. involvement in fighting.  Our only continued role, according to Obama, would be to 'advise and assist' the Iraqis.

 

But one soldier who is still in Iraq, and is still engaged in combat for the fireseeable future, exposes the Obama pronouncement as a lie.

 

The following is an actual email from the soldier, which has been forwarded by scores of Americans via email:

 

"Hey, everybody I just wanted to send a quick update and give Yall the REAL story on what's going on over here with the troop withdrawal.....The reason I'm sending this out is because I have had a few people ask if I left Iraq early because all of the combat troops are out of Iraq and I wanted to let everyone know the real deal.  It's kind of ridiculous how the news is saying that the last of the "combat" troops are out of Iraq because of Pres Osama ( I mean Obama ).  He says that it was his campaign promise.  Take our Brigade for example.  We were originally called a HBCT ( Heavy Brigade Combat Team).  Well since Obama said he would pull all of the "combat" troops out by Aug all they did before we left was change our name from a HBCT to a AAB ( Advise and Assist Brigade ).  We have the same personnel/equipment layout as before and are doing the same missions.  The ONLY difference is that they changed our name from a HBCT to an AAB and that's how he is getting away with saying that he has pulled all of the "combat" troops out.  It is really ridiculous what he's doing and he has ticked alot of people off.  And it's funny how the media is buying all of it, too.  So no the last combat troops are not out of Iraq we are still here.  There are other Brigades just like ours that are doing the same missions that are still over here.  Sorry for going on about it but we are just sitting over here watching it and are like "You've got to be kidding me!"  So anyway now you know the REAL story so that's why I'm not coming back early.  You have to watch those liberals, their sneaky!  Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well and I'll see you soon!"

 

This soldier's courage in telling the real truth only further confirms the fact that Barack Obama has lied incessantly to the American people, as this column has stated on numerous occasions.  The only thing Obama has changed so far is the name of the brigade.  The name was changed so that Obama could claim all combat operations were drawn to a close.  But as the soldier relates, the mission remains.  The brigade is still involved in heavy combat for the foreseeable future despite the name change from 'Heavy Brigade Combat Team' to 'Advise and Assist Brigade.'

There Is A Lot to Examine Today

    There is talk of manipulation of the Stock Market.  September is usually a month, year over year, where the market falls.  It's a normal ebb and flow in the his history of the stock market.  This year instead of an "ebb" the stock market got a "flow."  It appears the Federal Reserve is manipulating the Stock Market.  Why would they do this? 
     Obama and the Democrats are in serious trouble.  They need to do whatever they can to save their majority.  The are going to loose the House for sure, the only question is; by how much?  The Senate is now in play and Dick Morris is predicting a loss here as well.

     In the following article, they reference a report that Obama is going to claim he single handidly ended the recession.  There are some minions that will believe him.  On the other hand statisticly the recession ended in June of 2009.  Six months is hardly enough time for an administration to end a recession.  The critical mass of America's Economy is far beyond the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Government.  These two entities can only hurt an economy by in large.  Tax Cuts are the only thing a Government can do to stimulate and economy.  Spending money doesn't work because you have to take that money out of the economy to put it back in to the economy.  It's a zero sum gain.  What will kill an economy is $4 a gallon gasoline. (Which the Democrats were in control at that time and did nothing about the rise in oil prices.)

Nothing is Paid For!

     Obama goes to a town hall meeting yesterday and touts that tax cuts and the "2 wars" aren't paid for.  There are two problems with this train of thought.  First of all the tax revenue in the first place is legislated legalised theft.  Any tax on income is theft - period.  That isn't debatable so don't try.  The problem in the forefront however is that medicare also is not funded, Medicaid is not funded and social security while technically is funded, the federal government keep raiding it and putting IOUs in Hillary's proverbial "lock box." Tarp wasn't funded, Stimulus wasn't funded, health care isn't even funded fully and the funding it does get is tax increases and borrowing form medicare and medicaid.

Obama got challenged by two of his "voters" allegedly, in his town hall meeting on Monday.  One voter complained she was tired of defending him and implied that things were suppose to be better already and they are not better. 

A second voter (TED BRASSFIELD) complained that he had a large amount of school loans and couldn't afford to pay them, much less have a wife, house and kids.  It even sounded like he wanted Obama to cut him a check right then and there.  This POTUS is driving us all to Franks and Beans Mr. Brassfield!

Obama says he is doing stuff for the future generation.  Oh so we have to suffer so he can help the unborn?  Really?  Those decisions however aren't going to raise up future generations.These decisions in reality are going to make them worse.  The goal is socialism and even communism.

The Democrats live in a different world.  None of their programs are funded. So what do they do?  They suggest it's all the Republicans fault.  They do no wrong and their agenda is the only agenda, they never compromise and half the people in this country believe their lies.  Not that the Republicans are all that much better but they do compromise and they don't tend to live by the double standard in which the Democrats live.

This first post will just be some random thoughts -

• If I was POTUS I would hire Julie Banderas to be my Press Secretary.  She would run the idiots that ask all the stupid questions ragged!  She wouldn't get caught in the loony lefts ideological banter either!
• There are still some people that don't think Caroline Wozniaki will be a worthy #1 when she gets there.  Yes! She will be number one for an extended period once she gets there.
• Reports are that Ashley Harkleroad is pregnant with her second child.  Will she ever play Tennis again?
• Dallas and Minnesota have both started 0-2.  I'll bet they both still make the playoffs.
• Air Force beat BYU almost as bad as FSU beat BYU.  Air Force then played Oklahoma pretty tight.  I don't think FSU fans can pin too many hopes on the win over BYU.
• Why is it that Democrats seem to believe their politicians hook, line and sinker to the abyss.  Republicans on the other hand won't vote for their politicians if they are lied too.  Now you know why the progressives are winning (in error) right now.
• Why won't the media address all the evil of this administration.  Why do they allow Obama to parse words out of the Declaration?  The media is suppose to be the number one protectors of freedom.  Instead they assist the Statist in the drive to socialism and fascism.
• Landry Jones isn't as good of a quarterback as either Jason White or Sam Bradford - therefore Oklahoma will probably win their next national title with him.
• So now it's "Global Climate Disruption" instead of "Global Warming," the fascist need to continue to fool their mind numb followers and when it starts to snow next month they won't be able to call it "Global Warming" anymore.  The science is proven false but the media continues to try to drive home the point so they can create a permanent dependant class.
• The ruling class think that if you get your drugs, sex, alcohol and health care anytime you want it then most people will just follow along like dumb sheep.  The truth is about 50% of the people are sheep and will follow.  What they don't realize is they just regulated your health care and you won't get that whenever you want.  What will they regulate next?
• How is it that rank and file Democrats don't realize that the true Nazis are in office now and Palin, Bachmann and O'Donnell are anything but Nazis.
